World Peace Day…
On September 22, 2017, SVCS – Shalom Club initiated a prayer service to commemorate World Peace Day. This prayer service is a way of spreading the message of PEACE to everyone all over the world.
BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH
On October 5, 2017, students at SVCS participated in the proclamation signing at the Legislative Hall in Agana, declaring the month of October, Guam Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying prevention month is a month to join in the movement against bullying worldwide and unity.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE
Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All
Commemorating the International Day of Peace observed on September 9, 2017, the students, faculty, and staff of San Vicente Catholic School held a beautiful prayer service devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. In the spirit of this year’s theme, “Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All”, students participated in various activities which included dance, making posters and pinwheels, and special performances. Beautiful peace sculptures are displayed at the entrance of the main office at SVCS.
Hope for the World
In joyful prayer and celebration, San Vicente Catholic School participated in the Catholic Church “World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation,” instituted by Pope Francis celebrated on December 14, 2017.
School Accreditation
San Vicente Catholic School (SVCS) has been granted full-six year accreditation by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) through June 30, 2024 after undergoing accreditation review led by New Mexico’s Diocese of Gallup Superintendent for Schools.
